Book Cover Design Daada Naani

This is a book cover I designed for Raman Bahl for his book called "Daada-Naani". The book was about an organization called 'Patang' The author wanted an illustration as the cover. While discussing the elements that can be used the author mentioned that the organization has a project called 'Squirrel'. The name comes from the inspiration of a story from Ramayana, an epic mythology, where the squirrels help Ram to build the famous Ramsethu. Squirrel indicates the volunteers, saying that their small contribution to a big cause is a valued one. Using this theme the following design was made.
